To Format One Fraction
Just select a fraction and double–click the Format Selected Fraction script.
To Format Multiple Fractions
Step 1 (Optional)
No selection is required to format all fractions in the document.
But if you want to convert only certain fractions,
you can select some text or text frame(s).
Step 2
Double-click the Format Multiple Fractions script in the Scripts panel.
To open the panel in CS5 go into the Window menu > Utilities > Scripts.
To open the panel in CS4–CS2 go into the Window menu > Automation > Scripts.
Step 3
The script assumes the most logical choice, but you confirm the scope of the search and click OK.
In Progress
A progress bar is displayed while the script works (in CS3 and later).
Done!
You’ll be alerted when the script has finished. (This alert can be disabled in Preferences.)
Setting Preferences
Double-click the Preferences script in the Scripts panel. When done click OK.
