Using the Convert Quotes Script:

Step 1

Select all the text that contains typographers quotes (smart quotes) that you’d like to convert to foot/inch marks.

Step 2

Double-click the script in the Scripts panel.
To open it in CS3 & CS2: Window menu > Automation > Scripts.
To open it in CS: Window menu > Scripting > Scripts.

Done!

Enjoy the foot and inch marks, and say “Thanks Dan.”
