I always try to master the software I use. So in all the experimenting and reading that I do, every so often I come across a cool trick. Here are some tricks I find useful. I hope you find them helpful.

Managing Multiple Files/Folders (especially useful on photos)

If you have numerous files to rename, select the group of files.
Rename the first one by right-clicking on it and choosing Rename.
All of the selected files will be renamed: filename.jpg, filename (2).jpg, filename (3).jpg, etc.

Turn Off File Names in Thumbnail View

To get more space for thumbnails and you can turn the file names off.
Hold down Shift when you open a folder or when switching into the Thumbnail view.
This will turn of the file names, giving more space for the thumbnails.
Doing it again turns them back on.
